Finally, It's More Than My Imagination!

Just a little while ago this project was just an idea in my head. Now it's a small, but tangible progression of that idea. Boy do I wish I had more to show you, but...life gets in the way of creativity! However, you get a glimpse of how this is turning out. I'm loving it! I was driving home thinking "Does anyone wear cables in the Summer?" I don't recall, but I will be wearing them this summer! LOL! I used a thin thread so that it would be very airy, otherwise the cables would have made it really hot. I've decided to name this "East Hampton Vest" since it's just a loose interpretation of the South Hampton Vest. Gosh, I wish I had more time to knit!

The vest may turn out loose and airy, but this summer you're going to look "hot." Gorgeous knitting. Looking forward to seeing the finished project.

The thread was a great choice! The cables look cool and breezy. Perfect for warm weather!

I agree Deez. Even a fingering weight 14 wpi would have been too heavy with the cables.

Fascinating with the different length of stitches, combined with the cables - very interesting to look at!
Looking forward to the FO, and in the evenings, you'll be glad of the cabled parts!!
