Did you really believe me when...

...I said I would have this done last week?? Sorry. Those of you who follow me knew better. I should have named this blog "The Slowest Knitter". LOL! Anywhoo, I have been knitting today and I finished the back! Yaaayy! It's on the blocking board as we speak.

I realized that I've never knitted anything black before. Imagine that! Another fellow knitter mentioned that it's not too often that she sees someone knit with the color black. I hadn't noticed. Really! I thought it was just me. Interesting. Cause I was wondering "What took me so long?!" Have you guys done much knitting in black? I really plan to do more. I can tell you that it's kind of tricky to photograph. :)
I own this block!

wow, black yarn is notoriously difficult to photograph, and these shots are amazing!! And it looks gorgeous blocking.

I've knit quite a few solid black garments in particular a dress, skirt, jacket and slacks.

I do but it is more difficult, especially at the sewing up stage. Use a bright daylight lamp when I do.

Thank you everyone!
A bright light is a great idea.
